The shy girl

This visit to the Ho Chi Minh orphanage I started with the girl who had been my last patient at our previous visit. She had never smiled to us before and she looked very serious, maybe even a bit anxious. I had massaged her on our first visit too and she hadn’t looked like she had trusted me completely. But this time it seemed she got to know me. Another volunteer suggested to rock the girl on the exercise ball and we did so. Amazing but for the first time the girl smiled. It was great to see her smile and feel her joy.
